What are the benefits of online-check-in?
Passengers can check-in on-line from the comfort of their own home or office. Using online check-in saves time at the airport, by avoiding check-in queues.

 
Online check-in can be used by passengers travelling with hand luggage ONLY, presenting a valid form of identification at both airport security and the departure gate.
 

When can I check-in online?
Passengers can online check-in from 72 hours up to 3 hours prior to flight departure on www.aerarann.com. 

What time do I have to be at the boarding gate?
Passengers who have checked-in online must be at the boarding gate 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation and to deny you boarding if you do not comply with this deadline. 

Do I still need to arrive at the boarding gate at the original advised time if a delay is forecast for my flight?
Yes. If you have checked the arrival information for your flight and noticed that there is a delay expected, please ensure you arrive at the airport at the advised time in case our airport staff are able to reduce the delay, unless otherwise advised by Aer Arann delay text message indicating time to arrive at airport. 

What documents do I need to produce at the airport when using online check- in?
Online check-in can be used by passengers travelling with hand luggage ONLY, presenting a valid form of identification at both airport security and the departure gate.
We reserve the right to cancel your reservation and to deny you boarding if you arrive at the boarding gate without your boarding card and photographic ID.
 
Can I check-in baggage once I have checked-in online?
No checked baggage is permitted when using online check-in (including mobility equipment which must be carried in the hold of the aircraft); passengers can carry one item of hand baggage per passenger, weighing up to 7kg with maximum dimensions of 20cm x 28cm x 43cm (8x11x17ins). Hand luggage must contain NO prohibited items. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation and to deny you boarding if you arrive at the boarding gate with luggage in excess of your cabin allowance. 

Which passengers cannot use online check-in?
The following passengers cannot use online check in:
  • Passengers travelling with checked baggage
  • Children up to 16 years travelling alone
  • Passengers travelling with infants
  • Passengers who require special assistance at the airport 
    • Can I change my booking after I have checked-in online?
    Yes changes are permitted by contacting our reservations team and paying the applicable change fees. Fare terms and conditions apply here.
