Monday 4th October 2010: Aer Arann is introducing a new payment card fees scheme which will enable more customers to make a booking without paying a payment card fee.
From October 18th 2010 all bookings made using a Mastercard Prepaid Card will not attract a payment card fee. Bookings made with all other credit cards and debit cards will attract a payment card fee of €5 or £5 per person per sector.
Mastercard Prepaid cards are widely available in Ireland and the UK from a number of providers and can be acquired online and in retail outlets. They can be acquired quickly and easily are available without a credit rating or credit check.
Currently some debit cards do not attract a payment card fee but these cards are not available to all customers. This free payment card option will end on October 17th 2010.
